PERFORMANCES EN COURSES DE DRAG
Prior to switching to MEGASYNC Titanium, Marty experienced limited belt life, frequent replacements, elevated operating temperatures, and performance restrictions. Conventional belts struggled to withstand the high torque, rpm, and boost levels required to stay competitive. As power output increased beyond 2,400 horsepower, belt durability became the limiting factor—restricting the amount of boost that could be safely applied and limiting ontrack performance.

SITUATION/APPLICATION A major automotive OEM was in the process of redesigning their paint shop line. They were seeking a way to improve production efficiency, lower energy consumption, and ensure high-quality paint finishes with minimal contamination. Space optimization was also a priority, as they needed a more compact transmission system without compromising performance. THE PROBLEM The competitor’s solution, using a low-performance belt, led to higher energy consumption and required more space. Additionally, the previous transmission system failed to meet paint shop standards, causing surface contamination, defective paint jobs, and costly rework. A more efficient, reliable, and contaminant-free solution was needed
